Recently, Jilin University’s School of Business and Management achieved an important breakthrough in case development. The case “ZKH Group Limited: Strategic Crossroads in AI-Driven Industrial Supply,” developed by Professor Zhang Gongyi’s team, has been officially included in the Ivey Case Collection under case number W49239. This is the first case from Jilin Province to be selected for the Ivey Case Collection, and a landmark achievement in the internationalization of Jilin University’s MBA and business education.

The Ivey Case Collection is an internationally renowned platform for publishing and distributing business cases. Ivey Business School has long been committed to case teaching and case development, and its cases reach business schools and educators around the world through global distribution channels. Ivey cases are distributed in 168 countries and used by numerous business schools worldwide. The inclusion of this Jilin University case means that a Chinese enterprise management practice case developed by the university has entered an international platform for case teaching and dissemination, providing global business education with management contexts and decision-making materials from Chinese enterprises. It also offers new support for Jilin University’s MBA and business education to enhance international influence and expand international exchanges.

The case focuses on ZKH’s strategic choices amid the AI-driven transformation of industrial supply. Based on first-hand research, the team developed the case by drawing on theories of strategic management, digital transformation and AI application. Its inclusion reflects the innovation in the industry-education integration talent training model led by Jilin University MBA’s “VALUE” model. It is a phased achievement of the university’s co-building of an “Industrial Research Institute” with ZKH, and a landmark achievement in the internationalization of Jilin University’s MBA education system.
In the future, Jilin University MBA will continue to be guided by the “VALUE” model, deepen industry-education integration, and promote Chinese management practice achievements to the world.
